Our annual race offers 2 different timed events, a community walk and fun for the whole family!

Our race, held in the beautiful Cook Forest State Park, will be held July 20, 2024 at Shelter 2.

Early Bird Registration from April 1st – May 15th
Everyone that registers during that time will be put in a drawing for $100.00.

Regular registration will be from May 16th- July 13th. The last day to pre-register is July 13th.
Day of Race Registration starts at 8:00AM (We cannot guarantee tee shirt for those registering the day of race.)
Duathlon starts at 9:00AM
5k starts at 10:00AM

Race Forms

Event Details

The Duathlon consists of a 3.1 mile run then a 12 mile bike ride and ends with another 2 mile run. Many participate in this event as teams of 2 or 3, but this event can also be done solo. The 5K is a 3.1 mile race on a mix of trails and paved roads in Cook Forest. These events are timed with the exception of the community walk which is a two mile walk. All those who are pre-registered by June 16th will receive a free t-shirt. There is also a free picnic lunch provided to all racers and spectators following the event.

Registration and waiver forms are available here on our website and at the Brookville YMCA. When registering through the YMCA make checks payable to Brookville YMCA. This event benefits Western PA CARES for Kids Child Advocacy Center.
