DESCRIPTION:Our annual race offers 2 different timed events\, a community walk and fun for the whole family! \n\ncash prizes for race winners\nfree picnic lunch for all racers and spectators\ngreat raffles including gift cards and tickets to theme parks and sporting events\n\nOur race\, held in the beautiful Cook Forest State Park\, will be held July 16\, 2022 at Shelter 2. \nThe first 50 people to register online will be entered into a drawing for $100! \nEach participant is encouraged to raise donations for Western PA CARES for Kids\, Inc. and bring along on race day. Each participant bringing donations will be entered to win door prizes. \nAny participant who brings in $75.00 or more in sponsorship money will also be automatically entered in the grand prize drawing. \nThe participants who bring in the most sponsorship money will have first pick at the prizes. \nParticipant must bring a list with each sponsor’s address and indicate if the sponsor would like to receive a tax deduction letter. \nA sampling of some of our past grand prizes: EG 4- burner gas grill\, Keurig K- Duo\, a 43” TCL ROKU TV\, a Buzzer Beater Basketball Hoop\, a Sony Blu-ray\, Sony PS4\, Canon Printer\, Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer\, Bissell Power force vacuum\, a Hamilton Beach 1000 watt microwave and a Phillips 32” ROKU tv.\nDay of Race Registration starts at 8:00AM\nDuathlon starts at 9:00AM\n5k starts at 10:00AM \nRace Forms\nREGISTER ONLINE\n2022 Flyer Registration Form\n2022 Waiver \nEvent Details\nThe Duathlon consists of a 3.1 mile run then a 12 mile bike ride and ends with another 2 mile run. These events are timed with the exception of the community walk which is a two mile walk. All those who are pre-registered by June 16th will receive a free t-shirt. There is also a free picnic lunch provided to all racers and spectators following the event. \nRegistration and waiver forms are available here on our website and at the Brookville YMCA. SUMMARY:Brookville High School - "Kids Helping Kids" Night
DESCRIPTION:The Brookville Raider Roundball Booster Club are inviting everyone out to the Brookville High School main gym for the first “Kids Helping Kids” night to benefit Western PA CARES for Kids Child Advocacy Center. This will be a night where we can come together as a community to help bring awareness to child abuse as well as help raise funds to keep the center up and running. This event is on January 16th at 6:00PM.  There will be 50/50 drawings\, bake sale\, plus you can buy chances to win a variety of prizes.  T-shirts will be available for purchase while they last for $10.00 each. The kids will be playing basketball so you can cheer them on and help support a good cause.  After all “It shouldn’t hurt to be a child.” \nPlease note that there is an entrance fee to get into the game. $3 for adults and $1 for children. The entrance fee is separate from the fundraiser.
